Supply Chain Executive

Here at Every Step Recruitment, Office Support, we are recruiting for a Supply Chain Executive on behalf of our Client in St. Albans. This is a part-time role, 30 hours per week, ideally over 4 days.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Managing incoming deliveries / imports - ensuring correct and accurate documents are received
• Managing outgoing shipments / exports - ensuring correct documents are completed
• Full compliance with the latest HMRC customs rules and regulations
• Dealing with availability queries relating to your category within agreed timescales
• Maintaining accurate records
• Creating strong relationships with suppliers and freight partners across the category

You will have the following skills and attributes:

• Previous experience in a supply chain role, dealing with import/export - essential
• Knowledge of customs procedures
• High level of understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain
• Demonstrable experience of working closely and effectively with suppliers and freight partners
• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
• Proficient using MS Excel
