Are you a compassionate and reliable individual looking to make a real difference in people’s lives? We are currently recruiting Support Workers in Lancaster to work in a supported housing environment, helping vulnerable adults with complex needs.

About the Role:
As a Support Worker, you will be providing day-to-day support to individuals who are experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges, or have a history of substance misuse. Your role is to promote independence, build trust, and support service users in maintaining a safe and stable living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide practical and emotional support tailored to individual needs

• Assist with daily living skills such as cooking, budgeting, and appointments

• Encourage engagement with support plans and external services

• Maintain clear and accurate records

• Promote a safe and respectful living environment for all residents

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with vulnerable adults is desirable

• Understanding of mental health, homelessness, or substance misuse issues

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
