We own and manage c.8,000 homes in the east of England, working closely with other agencies and stakeholders within our communities. We build on the good foundations we have in place in being a customer-centric organisation, investing in our existing homes - including our zero-carbon journey - as well as building new homes.

This is a part-time role of 30 hours per week (either worked across 4 days or 5 days).
Outline of key responsibilities...
Deliver a person-centred approach when developing, implementing, and reviewing Support Plans and Risk Assessments, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures
Promote equality, inclusion, and fair access throughout the service, empowering residents to maximise their potential and achieve positive outcomes
Contribute to the assessment and onboarding of new referrals, including completing initial risk assessments and liaising with relevant external partner agencies as part of the decision-making process
Encourage and support residents to access appropriate services identified within their Support Plans, including completing referrals and providing effective signposting
Build and maintain strong working relationships with statutory and external agencies to enhance the support available to residents
Support residents to sustain their current accommodation and prepare for future housing opportunities by developing life and social skills, ensuring access to eligible benefits, and assisting with social housing register applications and the bidding process
We are looking for someone who has/is...
A valid full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle
Knowledge of issues leading to homelessness
Experience of working with individuals with mental health, drug or alcohol related issues
Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
An approach that promotes equality and diversity and being comfortable interacting with people from all backgrounds
A desire to work with individuals to progress independent living skills

An annual salary of £21,539 (FTE £26,564) plus a car allowance of £1,545 per annum
Flexible working around a 37 hour week
Annual Leave - 28 days per year, (plus bank holidays) increasing to 32 days when you reach your 3rd year with us. To give greater flexibility around your holidays you can also buy, sell or carry over up to 5 days of annual leave each year
