Key Responsibilities

Provide person-centred care and support, promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing.

*

Assist individuals with daily living activities and personal care where required.

*

Support medication administration, where trained and authorised.

*

Follow individual care plans, safeguarding procedures and health and safety guidelines.

*

Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and service users.

Essential Requirements

*

Minimum 12 months of relevant Support Worker experience.

*

Mandatory practical training: Candidates must hold the practical training required for the role and placement. If you need guidance on the specific training requirements, our recruitment team can advise you.

*

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.

*

Valid right to work in the UK.

*

Good communication skills and a professional, caring attitude.

*

Flexibility to work agency shifts, including days, nights and weekends, depending on availability.

Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism or complex needs would be advantageous.
