Tax Manager - Part time

Role: Tax Manager - part time

Location: Milton Keynes (a couple of times a month on site)

Rate: c£450pd

A client of ours is in need of a Tax Manager to support them on an ongoing part time, interim basis.

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Overseeing and managing all aspects of direct and indirect tax compliance and reporting for the UK and overseas entities.
• Developing and implementing tax planning strategies to minimise tax liabilities and optimise tax efficiency.
• Ensuring timely and accurate filing of corporate tax returns, VAT returns, and other related documentation.
• Monitoring changes in tax legislation and assessing their impact on the company's operations.
• Providing strategic tax advice and support to senior management and other departments.
• Conducting regular reviews and audits of tax processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
• Manage tax risk and ensure adherence to all relevant tax policies and controls.

The successful candidate will have relevant tax experience and ideally be comfortable with mutual tax and partial exemptions schemes.

This is mostly a remote role with travel to Milton Keynes required once or twice a month.
