Teacher of Business Studies (Part Time)

Location: Bedford, Bedfordshire

Contract: 2-3 days per week

Are you a Teacher of Business Studies looking to maintain work-life balance while making a meaningful impact in a high-achieving secondary school? A well-regarded school in Bedford, Bedfordshire is seeking a passionate educator to join their Business department from September 2025 on a part-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified teacher who excels in delivering engaging and high-quality Business lessons across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5. The successful candidate will work two or three days per week, contributing to a popular and successful department within the school.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver and assess GCSE and A-Level Business Studies

• Set high expectations and challenge students to achieve their full potential

• Work in-line with departmental and school policies

• Contribute to ongoing curriculum development and innovation in Business

• Collaborate with colleagues and support whole-school initiatives as appropriate

What We're Looking For:

• QTS/QTLS or equivalent with proven experience in teaching Business Studies

• Strong classroom presence and the ability to inspire learners at all levels

• Ability to plan and deliver differentiated lessons that cater to a range of abilities

• Organised, collaborative, and proactive in contributing to departmental success

• Willingness to support the broader culture and values of the school
