Role Summary

We're seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Teacher of Economics to deliver engaging, academically rigorous lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 in a high-performing secondary school setting. This part-time position starts in September 2025, with flexible days available to suit your circumstances.

Essential Requirements

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• High expectations of student achievement and progress
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality Economics lessons
• Teaching KS3 and KS4 students in line with curriculum expectations
• Setting high standards for academic achievement
• Creating a positive, inclusive classroom culture
• Monitoring, assessing, and reporting on student progress
• Preparing students for internal and external exams
• Differentiating lessons to meet a range of student needs
• Collaborating with colleagues on curriculum development
• Supporting the school's values and ethos
• Upholding safeguarding procedures and school policies
