A Teaching Assistant is needed at an All-Boys Grammar Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London.

This Teaching Assistant position can be part or full time and be fixed term, in the first instance.

If appointed as a Teaching Assistant, you will be required to support SEN pupils with ASC, ADHD and Physical Impairments in small groups, as well as on a 1:1 basis.

The team are looking for a Teaching Assistant that can demonstrate the ability to effectively work as part of a team, communicate appropriately with parents of pupils and work cohesively with class teachers.

The rates of pay for this Teaching Assistant role will be between £82.14 and £100 a day, depending on the qualifications and experience of each applicant.

The School

A Grammar School & Sixth Form located in the London Borough of Kingston upon Thames.

They are an all-boys school from Years 7 to 11 and has a mixed Sixth Form.

The history of the school dates back to 1638.

During Ofsted's last inspection, the school was rated as 'Good'.

There are currently just over 1400 pupils on enrolment.

A number of former pupils have gone on to become actors, musicians, politicians and sportsmen.

Requirements

Applications are welcome if you're a recent Graduate or experienced Teaching Assistant.

You're also encouraged to apply if you're a British trained Teaching Assistant or overseas trained Teaching Assistant.

All applicants must have the following in order to be shortlisted for this Teaching Assistant role:

• Right to work in the UK
• Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
• UK Bachelor's Degree or an overseas equivalent
• Experience of working with children/young people or as a Teaching Assistant in UK schools
