Teaching Assistant

Location: Penzance and surrounding areas
Pay: £85-£100 per day (depending on experience)
Start date: As soon as possible
Contract: Flexible - day-to-day, long-term
Hours: Full-time or part-time, term-time only

We're working closely with schools in and around Penzance who are looking for Teaching Assistants to support their pupils across a range of settings. Whether you've got classroom experience or have supported young people in other environments, this could be a great opportunity if you're looking for flexible work that makes a difference.

This role suits someone who's calm, reliable, and genuinely enjoys helping children thrive. You don't need a qualification, just the right attitude and some relevant experience.

• Supporting pupils in lessons (1:1, small groups or whole class)

• Helping with learning tasks and keeping children engaged

• Supporting children with additional needs or challenging behaviour

• Working closely with the class teacher and wider team

• Contributing to a positive, supportive classroom environment

• Experience working with children or young people in any setting

• A patient, approachable and proactive mindset

• Someone happy to follow school routines and direction

• Confidence working across different year groups and abilities

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

• Two references covering the last two years
