Job Title: Classroom and 1:1 Teaching Assistant (Part-Time Supply)
Location: Schools in and around Great Harwood
Start Date: September 2025

Looking for flexible part-time work in education?
We're looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils in both classroom and 1:1 settings across Blackburn schools. This part-time, supply role is ideal if you're looking for 2-3 days of work per week with variety and flexibility.

About the role:
You'll work closely with teachers to support learning across the classroom, while also providing tailored 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs. No two days are the same, and you'll gain valuable experience in different schools and settings.

Requirements:

• Experience as a TA in a classroom or 1:1 setting (school or support work background)
• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification preferred
• Confident supporting children with a range of needs

What's on offer:

• £13.68 - £17.71 per hour (depending on experience/qualifications)
• 2-3 days per week (flexible to suit your schedule)
• Variety of placements in welcoming, supportive schools
• Ongoing training and career support

You'll need:

• Enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply)
• Two professional references
• Right to work in the UK
• A CV covering the last 10 years (with any gaps explained)
• Attendance at a registration meeting
