Location: Weston-Super-Mare
Salary: £90-£100 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: 05/01/2025

We're looking for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join Tradewind. Working in a variety of schools in Weston-Super-Mare. The successful candidate will ideally have SEN experience, excellent behaviour management skills, and be able to work effectively with a student who requires additional support.

Responsibilities include:

Assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons and learning activities
Collaborating with the classroom teacher and other staff members to provide a positive and inclusive learning environment
Assisting with the student's behaviour management and social-emotional development
Help prepare classroom materials and resourcesQualifications:

A recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
Experience working with children and students with SEND
An understanding of safeguarding and child protection (training will be provided)
Good organisational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work immediately and for the rest of the academic year
