Teaching Assistant KS1 and KS2

Milk Education are working with a Primary school in Liverpool who are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work across KS1 and KS2 class. This SEN Teaching Assistant role is to support both students and the class teacher with the day to day running of the classroom. You must be confident to support the KS1 and KS2 children working on a one to one basis and in a group capacity as and when required to do so.

This SEN Teaching Assistant role will involve supporting the class teacher with anything they need support with including keeping all children on task and ensuring that the work they doing is being done to a good standard. You will be responsible for getting resources ready for the day and ensure the classroom is kept clean and tidy each day.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Supporting with Learning and Developing
• Working on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Encouraging, Supporting and De-escalating students

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant that is:

• Passionate about enabling every child to fulfil their potential
• Able to contribute to, and work, as part of a team
• Reliable and flexible to suit the expectations of our schools
• Previous experience working within a educational setting
• Creative, Pro-active and Enthusiastic Individual
• Able to work under own initiative 
• Education related qualification preferred but not essential
