Teaching Assistant - mornings only in Y1/2

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team in a Year 1/2 class. This part-time role is perfect for someone who is passionate about contributing to the educational development of young children. The position starts after Easter 2025 and offers a rewarding opportunity to work in a dynamic classroom environment every morning.

• Assist in preparing the classroom for lessons and helping to organise learning materials.
• Support the teacher in delivering educational activities and engaging students in learning.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.
• Assist with the supervision of children during class activities and transitions.
• Provide individual support to students, focusing on their specific educational and developmental needs.
• Participate in creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere.

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role in an educational setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive approach and a genuine interest in child development.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willing to undergo this procedure prior to commencement).
