Teaching Assistants – Sudbury | Immediate & Ongoing Opportunities

Location: Sudbury, Suffolk

Job type: Temporary / Long-term / Permanent opportunities

Advert:

Local Education is recruiting Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants in and around Sudbury following an increase in requirements from local primary schools.

We are looking to speak with people who are available for:

* Day-to-day and short-term TA cover

* Longer-term classroom support

* SEND and 1:1 support

* Intervention work

* Potential permanent opportunities

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience working within EYFS, KS1 or KS2, although we would also like to hear from people with relevant experience from childcare, youth work, care, mentoring or other roles supporting children.

We don’t simply send candidates into whichever school happens to need someone that morning. We take the time to understand your experience, the type of environment you work best within and the pupils you are most confident supporting so that we can match you properly.

Successful applicants will ideally be:

* Confident supporting children within a classroom environment

* Patient, reliable and approachable

* Comfortable supporting pupils with differing needs

* Able to build positive relationships with children and school staff

* Committed to safeguarding and professional standards

Why work with Local Education?

We are an independent education recruitment agency supporting schools across Essex and Suffolk.

Every candidate is personally interviewed and supported through our compliance process, and our in-house Training Manager provides additional preparation around areas including safeguarding, Prevent and behaviour management.

We are currently expanding our local Sudbury candidate pool because of increasing demand from schools in the area.

If you are an experienced TA, LSA or somebody with strong transferable experience who would like to work within a primary school, apply today and we will contact you to discuss the opportunities that best suit you
Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
