About the Role (Part-Time Permanent):

• Delivering engaging and stimulating Economics lessons, focusing on A-Level curriculum aligned with the Edexcel exam board (potentially with some GCSE involvement).


• Creating a stimulating and well-resourced learning environment that promotes critical thinking, analysis and an understanding of economic principles.


• Contributing to the ongoing development of the Economics curriculum, ensuring it aligns with the school's vision and prepares students for success at university and beyond.


• Building strong relationships with students, fostering their confidence and enthusiasm for Economics.


• Participating in departmental and whole-school events, contributing to the wider school community (pro-rated for part-time role).

The Ideal Candidate:

• A qualified Economics teacher with a demonstrable track record of success in engaging students at A-Level.


• Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for demystifying Economics and its real-world applications.
