Do you have proven experience from a fast-paced purchasing or Supply chain environment?

My client is busy and require an experienced person ASAP. Reporting to The Head Buyer you will play a key role in ensuring the days to day operations of the supply chain. This is fast paced role, and you will be responsible for managing purchasing activities and ensuring the timely delivery of materials.

The role

• Process all requisition and PO’s
• Providing purchasing data as and when required
• Act as a point of contact for day-to-day procurement issues
• Work with suppliers to ensure best price scenarios
• Resolve invoice issues and overcharge issues
• Support engineering staff with queries and changes
• Collaborate on procurement and contract projects
• Skills needed
• Excellent Excel skills
• Experience form supply chain or procurement
• Brilliant written and spoken English
• Someone who can work under pressure and deliver results
• A proactive team player
