Theatre Healthcare Assistant (HCA) — Weekends Only - Scotland

Pay rate: £225.00 per day Hours: Weekends only — Saturday & Sunday, 08:00–18:00]

About the role
We're looking for an experienced Theatre HCA to join our weekend insourcing team, supporting elective surgical and General lists for our client based in Scotland. This is a great opportunity for an HCA who wants flexible weekend work with a well established insourcing provider, helping to reduce patient waiting lists.
What you'll be doing

Preparing theatres, equipment and instrumentation ahead of surgical lists
Supporting the scrub and circulating team throughout procedures
Assisting with patient positioning, transfer and post-op recovery support
Maintaining stock levels, cleanliness and infection control standards
Working closely with surgeons, anaesthetists and theatre nursing staff to keep lists running efficientlyWhat we're looking for

Previous experience as a Theatre HCA/ODP support worker in an NHS or private hospital setting
Sound understanding of aseptic technique and infection control
Current PVG (or willingness to obtain one)
Right to work in the UK
Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
