Tramper Driver Class 1

Tramper Driver (HGV1, LGV1, CAT C+E, Class 1) – Hampshire

* Suitable for drivers in the Southampton & Portsmouth Areas

* Temp to perm opportunities

* Hours of Work: 06.45am - Finish

* Availability Required: Monday to Friday (4 nights out per week)

* Occasionally a Saturday morning run-in or a Sunday afternoon run out may be required

* Pay Rate: from £18.00 - £20.00+ per hour (minimum 10 hours) – Paid Weekly

* Ongoing work - Permanent positions available

* Contract: 14 Weeks / Ongoing / Ad hoc

The Job- Tramper Driver (HGV1, LGV1, CAT C+E, Class 1)

* Safely drive and operate HGV1 / LGV1 / Class 1 vehicles

* Ensuring items are transported securely

* All deliveries are to businesses, though most will require tail-lift offload

* Some handball may be required, but any loose items are very light

* Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and safety regulations during operations

* Ensure accurate completion of all delivery paperwork and digital records

* Provide excellent customer service when delivering to clients

* Carry out vehicle checks before and after shifts, reporting any defects or maintenance issues

* Work efficiently to meet delivery timeframes in a fast-paced environment

* Maintain good communication with the operations team and customers

* Ensure compliance with the company’s health and safety policies and procedures

Skills and Experience Required- Tramper Driver (HGV1, LGV1, CAT C+E, Class 1)

* Clean Licence (No more than 6 points permitted)

* HGV1, LGV1, Class 1 Licence (Required)

* At least 1 years’ experience as an HGV driver is essential

* Experience with HGV1 delivery tramping work
