Vat Consultant - Part time - Fully remote

Fully Remote Opportunity - 2/3 days per week
We are recruiting a VAT Advisory Consultant to deliver expert consultancy services to clients while identifying further business development opportunities. This role offers significant growth potential within an award-winning consultancy.

• Conduct VAT research and analysis for complex compliance queries
• Ensure guidance aligns with current HMRC legislation and best practice
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships during advisory calls / consultancy projects
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to practice growth initiatives
• Stay current with VAT legislative changes and participate in CPD programs

• Demonstrable VAT expertise from professional practice, industry, or advisory roles
• Strong UK VAT knowledge
• Experience handling complex VAT queries and client-facing advisory services
• Excellent telephone communication and problem-solving abilities

• Self-motivated with ambition for professional advancement
• Natural problem-solver with attention to detail

• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to varied audiences
