Description

• Manage and guide a team in delivering VAT services to clients
• Review and prepare complex VAT returns
• Stay informed of changes in VAT legislation and advise clients accordingly
• Develop and implement effective VAT planning strategies
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their VAT needs are met
• Collaborate with other departments to provide integrated services to clients
• Contribute to the development and training of junior staff members
• Participate in business development initiatives and events

Profile

A successful VAT Manager should have:

• A professional accounting or tax qualification
• Demonstrable experience in a similar VAT Manager role for a UK-based accountancy firm/office
• Excellent knowledge of VAT legislation and its practical application
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent client relationship management abilities
• Strong communication and presentation skills
