Warehouse Assistant

• Annual Salary: £17,500
• Hourly Rate: £12.21
• Location: Newbury, Berkshire, RG14
• Job Type: Part-time, flexible hours (20-30 hours per week)

We are seeking a Warehouse Picker Packer & Factory Assistant to join our team. This role involves assisting in warehouse operations, primarily focusing on picking and packing. During quieter periods, the role will extend to supporting the production side, including tasks like packing, breaking rolls, and operating smaller machines. This position offers flexibility in working hours and the opportunity for overtime.

• Efficiently pick and pack items in the warehouse according to company standards.
• Assist in various production tasks when the warehouse operations are slow.
• Learn and operate smaller machines as part of production assistance.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in both the warehouse and production areas.
• Adapt to varying work tasks as needed throughout the shift.

• Flexibility to work variable hours and adapt to changing work environments.
• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Prior experience in warehouse or production roles is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Competitive hourly rate of £12.21 with potential for overtime.
• Flexible working hours between 8:45 AM and 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
