Yard Staff

Venrec are urgently seeking experienced Yard Staff for our Client based in Strood, Kent.

Role Responsibilities:

- Loading/ unloading vehicles manually and checking off materials against manifest

- Yard ‘housekeeping’ – ensuring the environment is kept clean and tidy

- Inventory count and control as required

- Wood cutting/ painting and general maintenance of fixtures & fittings

Conduct requirements:

- Confident communicator

- Be a reliable and trustworthy member of the team

- Be positive and proactive in everything you do

Personal Training Requirements:

- Physically fit as heavy lifting is involved

- Background working within a yard environment for the construction/ scaffolding industry is advantageous

- Ability to work outside

Other Information:

- Hours of work: Monday - Saturday 07.00 – 17.00 (Half day on Saturday), so flexibility is required within this role.

- Interview/ Start Date: Immediate

- Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour + holiday pay

Due to the location of our client all applicants must live local or have their own transport.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity of full-time employment with our client after a qualification period.
