Job Description - Year 1 Teacher maternity cover

Job title: Year 1 Teacher

Pay rate: £33,075 - £50,471 dependent on MPS

Start date: September 2025

Location: Dartford

Work type: Full time, maternity cover (10 months)

Requirements:

Suitable for ECTs
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Eligible to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain a DBS through the registration process

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons
Communicate with year group partners regarding children's progress
Assess student progress & communicate with parents and carers
Create a positive learning environment
