Hays Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a group of primary schools across the BA2-BA6 area. This opportunity starts in September 2025. You'll be teaching a Year 2 class on a part-time basis (3 days/week) until then with the possibility of extra days.This role offers flexibility-you can pair the 3 teaching days with 2 days of supply work, another long-term role, or simply enjoy a balanced part-time schedule.Your new role
You'll be teaching a vibrant Year 2 class, focusing on core subjects including numeracy, literacy, phonics, and spelling-laying the foundation before they transition into KS2. This role is ideal for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) or experienced educators seeking a fresh, rewarding challenge.
What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified Teacher Status (PGCE or equivalent)
• Recent teaching experience (within the last 5 years)
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Strong understanding of the English National Curriculum
