Year 6 Teacher (Part-Time) Needed in Lewisham Immediate Start

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and structured lessons in line with the Year 6 curriculum.


• Prepare students for their end-of-key-stage assessments, ensuring they make strong progress.


• Assess and monitor student performance, providing tailored support where needed.


• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages confidence and academic success.


• Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to maintain high teaching standards.


• Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding student progress.

Person Specification

• 
  Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.


• A degree in Education or a relevant subject.


• Experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally within Year 6.


• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment strategies.


• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.


• A commitment to high expectations and student achievement.


• Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to the school community.
