Business Development Associate

Job Description:

Markel, a leading insurance company based in London, England, is seeking a part-time Business Development Associate to join our team at the Associate level. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in business development or a related field.

Responsibilities: - Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to drive growth for the company - Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients and key stakeholders - Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the industry - Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for meeting and exceeding sales targets - Assist in the development of marketing materials and presentations for potential clients - Track and report on business development activities and progress towards goals

Requirements: - Motivated and passionate about driving business growth - Strong analytical and innovative thinking skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Knowledge of the insurance industry or related fields is a plus
