Founded in 2010, the Catholic League for the Poor of Nigeria, Inc. (“CLPN”) is an IRS 501(c)(3) organization working toward the design and construction of a modern Western style hospital for the poor in Southeastern Nigeria. We believe that we will achieve this through the creation of volunteer and professional assistance networks who hold a strong commitment to help the overseas poor, while the poor still reside in their own homeland. To wait to provide medical care until after the poor become refugees in a foreign land often is too little too late
