Greenwood Mills also produces garments, including jeans and other denim products, for retailers such as Levi Strauss and Abercrombie & Fitch through its SingleSource Apparel denim operations in Mexico. Greenwood Mills operates two plants in South Carolina. Through affiliated units, the company operates golf course, resort, and real estate developments. Founded in 1888 by James Self, Greenwood Mills is still owned and operated by the Self family.
