Position: A319 Retrofit IFE Engineer Cabin Systems

Position Location: Fort Worth, TX
Job Description:
This position is to provide support to cabin electrical, IFE, and WIFI systems. Support repair and alterations of the cabin electrical systems via EO or EA.

• Working with other engineering teams, create or revise task cards, AMM, IPC, AWDM, and CMMs for cabin electrical systems.

• Investigate and develop fixes for reliability items on cabin electrical systems.

• Work with suppliers and OEMs to develop alterations to existing systems, including possible removal and replacement of a system or component to support ongoing efforts.

• Support line operations by review of daily out-of-service aircraft or degraded systems and provide technical support

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering; Electrical Engineering preferred.

• Ten or more years of experience in aircraft In-Flight Entertainment, WiFi, or aircraft cabin electrical systems.

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and AA engineering practices preferred.

• Must have good interpersonal skills, work well with others in a group, and be self-motivated and able to prioritize workload and multiple high-priority items.
