We are seeking an Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our adolescent residential treatment program in Illinois. This hybrid position combines on-site clinical leadership with virtual flexibility and offers the opportunity to work within a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary treatment environment serving adolescents with complex mental health needs.

The ideal candidate brings inpatient psychiatric experience, comfort working with chronically mentally ill populations, and a strong understanding of treatment within a structured residential milieu.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for adolescents in a residential treatment setting


• Collaborate with the Clinical Director to plan, implement, and evaluate psychiatric services


• Lead or designate participation in weekly interdisciplinary treatment team meetings


• Review, recommend, and approve psychiatric and medical policies and procedures annually


• Provide program-wide consultation regarding psychiatric illness and chemical dependency


• Ensure accurate same-day clinical documentation


• Support medical records compliance and regulatory standards


• Act on behalf of the Medical Staff in emergency patient care situations as needed


• Maintain 24/7 phone accessibility to clinical staff and coordinate coverage during planned absences


• Participate in professional development, education, and program outreach as appropriate

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO, licensed to practice medicine in the State of Illinois


• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry


• Experience in inpatient or residential psychiatric treatment, preferably with adolescents


• Strong clinical judgment and ability to integrate individual treatment into a residential milieu


• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and clinical teams
