Associate Test Engineer 1 (Shift 1) & (shift 2)

Our client, a leading semiconductor client, is looking for an Associate Test Engineer 1 (Shift 1) & (shift 2).

Duration: Long -Term Contract (Possibility Of Further Extension)

Location: Milpitas, CA

Pay Rate: $37.40 - $39.60/hr on W2

Responsibilities

• Perform component -level testing and troubleshooting of electronic sub -assemblies and camera builds used in semiconductor equipment.
  

• Diagnose, analyze, and resolve electrical faults using standard engineering test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.).
  

• Support assembly, validation, and functional testing of electronic modules (not full system builds).
  

• Document test results, failures, corrective actions, and engineering findings accurately.
  

• Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve product quality and reliability.
  

• Follow established safety policies, including proper lifting procedures (<25 lbs independently; team lift over 40 lbs).
  

• Maintain high performance standards and meet productivity/output expectations.
  

• Support overtime and weekend work when required to meet production schedules.
  

• Ensure compliance with quality standards and internal procedures.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) – Required.
  

• Hands -on experience with component -level electronics testing and troubleshooting.
  

• Strong understanding of electronic circuits, schematics, and PCB components.
  

• Experience using electrical test equipment (oscilloscope, DMM, signal generator, etc.).
  

• Ability to analyze root causes and implement corrective actions.
  

• Comfortable working in a semiconductor or high -tech manufacturing environment (preferred).
  

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and follow safety protocols.
  

• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends as needed.
  

• Open to long -term contract engagement (12–24 months).
  

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet high performance standards.
