Job Description - AutoCAD Technician

Role: AutoCAD Technician
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Omaha, NE (On site)
Pay Rate: $28/hr. to $32/hr. on W2

Key Responsibilities:

Hang asset tags on equipment and components at natural gas compressor stations, receipt points, and delivery points.
Ensure accurate and consistent labeling and identification of assets according to company standards.
Collaborate with the asset management team to maintain up-to-date records and documentation.
Create accurate drawings utilizing research obtained through field research.
Support the implementation of AutoCAD software for asset management purposes.
Coordinate with on-site technicians and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for tagging and labeling processes.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are a plus.
Prior experience in asset management, drafting, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
Familiarity with reading Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) is a plus.
Proficiency in AutoCAD software is desirable but can be learned on the job.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Flexibility to travel extensively, including overnight stays, for prolonged periods.
Valid driver's license and willingness to comply with all travel-related policies and procedures.
