Automation Engineer

For Automation services in the Manufacturing and Engineering area.

WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT: 

The Technical Part:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least five (5) years of experience in Automation and Validation activities within the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industry.
• Bilingual: Spanish and English (verbal/ written)
• Shift: Administrative and according to business needs.
• Experience in:
  • Delta V
  • Software Development 
  • OSI - PI: OSIsoft PI System
  • Software Validation Life Cycle: IQ/OQ/PQ

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

• Generation and update user and design Delta V programming document.
• Generation and execution of the testing protocol.
• Configuration and development of DeltaV control system software (control modules, equipment modules, phase modules and recipes.
• Assure automated systems operations are maintained considering Plant policies, procedures and FDA regulations under cGMP’s and other regulations applicable.
• Tests automated system to determine critical of component loss prioritizes importance of components and writes recommendations for recovering losses and using backup/restore applicable procedures.
• Adheres to data integrity and system security applicable practices under these situations.
• Prepare operational qualification assessments to support that validated critical operating parameters are within qualified parameters.
• Support the evaluation of Change Controls to establish qualification assessments and performance qualification requirements during process and/or modifications.
• Support the periodic review of equipment/system qualifications studies.
• Generate & execute protocols; IQ, OQ, PQ.
