Barista - Winter 24/25

The Barista prepares and serves espresso-based and other coffee drinks, food or other beverages to guests by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, other duties may be assigned)

• Processes orders in Point of Sale and serves customers in a professional, energetic and friendly manner.
• Accepts payment, processes credit cards, room charges, discounts and cash.
• Itemizes and totals check for service or totals takeout transaction on cash register and accepts payment.
• Prepares coffee, espresso, take-out sandwiches, smoothies and salads.
• Stocks and replenishes condiments, plastic wear and napkins.
• Restocks display case and maintains rotation of stock.
• Assists manager or supervisor in transferring stock from freezers/refrigerator.
• Cleans counters, ovens, refrigerators and display cases.
• Sweeps and mops floors.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor, which could be directly related, or unrelated to original position.

OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES

Excellent customer service skills required.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
