Job Description - BDSM/Kink Educator and Presenter (Pup, Shibari, Impact Play, and Bondage)

We are seeking knowledgeable and experienced Freelance BDSM Educator and Presenter with expertise in pup play, Shibari, impact play, and BDSM for upcoming events. This role involves delivering an informative and artistic presentation that delves into practices. The ideal candidate should be skilled in demonstrating these techniques in a safe, consensual, and artistic manner and be comfortable engaging with live volunteers.

Freelancer Status Notice

Please note that this role is strictly an independent contractor position. Freelancers are not employees of Barks and Rec or its vendors and partners. As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for managing your own taxes, insurance, and compliance with applicable laws. This role does not include employee benefits, workers' compensation, or other employment-related provisions.

Requirements

Develop and present an educational and artistic overview of a domain of BDSM practices.
Conduct live demonstrations with volunteers, prioritizing safety, consent, and artistic representation.
Lead an optional workshop for attendees interested in learning basic skills and safe practices in BDSM (if applicable).
Create a consensual, inclusive, and non-judgmental learning environment throughout the event.
Answer audience questions, offering educational and insightful perspectives on BDSM practices.
Collaborate with event organizers regarding logistics, ensuring a smooth and safe execution of the presentation.
Advocate for an understanding and appreciation of BDSM as an art form and a mode of personal expression.
