Summer Job Alert: Beach Staff Wanted! 🌞

Looking for a fun summer job where you can work outside, meet new people, and earn money? The Crystal Lake Park District is hiring Beach Staff to help keep our beach safe, clean, and welcoming all summer long!

😎 What You’ll Be Doing

As Beach Staff, you’ll help with:

• Greeting guests and helping them check in at the beach.


• Collecting admission and rental fees (we’ll train you!)


• Helping with boat rentals and beach office tasks.


• Keeping the beach, bathrooms, and work areas clean and safe.


• Helping with parking and special events when needed.


• Enforcing beach rules in a respectful and friendly way.


• Working with other staff to make sure everyone has a great day.

👍 What We’re Looking For

You might be a great fit if you:

• Are 16 years or older.


• Are reliable, responsible, and show up on time.


• Have a positive attitude and enjoy working with people.


• Can handle cash and give correct change.


• Communicate well and are comfortable helping the public.


• Are patient and friendly, including with kids.


• Can work well with others and follow instructions.


• Present yourself professionally and follow uniform guidelines.

👉 No prior experience required — we’ll train you!

⏰ Schedule Details

• 12–40 hours per week, depending on weather and beach attendance.


• This is a seasonal position, May 11-Sep 8.  


• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and some evenings(4th of July Fireworks event is required).
