Bilingual Homeschool Teacher Early Childhood for ages 5 -6 Position Horizon City

Tutor Doctor El Paso is seeking a dedicated and nurturing bilingual homeschool instructor to provide one -to -one instruction for two young learners, ages 5 and 6, in a private home setting in Horizon City.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with early elementary students and understands the importance of structure, patience, and developmental milestones in Pre -K and Kindergarten.

Position Overview

• In -home homeschool support
  
• 3 sessions per week, 4 hours per session
  
• One -to -one instruction (each child individually)
  
• Consistent schedule over a 4 -month contract
  
• Opportunity to renew based on fit and progress
  

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized instruction aligned with Pre -K and Kindergarten milestones
  
• Support early literacy skills:
  
• Letter recognition and phonemic awareness
  
• Beginning reading and sound blending
  
• Listening comprehension and vocabulary development
  
• Support early math foundations:
  
• Number recognition and counting
  
• Basic addition and subtraction concepts
  
• Patterns, shapes, and number sense
  
• Develop fine motor skills: Writing readiness, pencil grip, cutting, and hands -on activities
  
• Build routines and structure:
  
• Following directions
  
• Transitions between activities
  
• Attention, focus, and learning stamina
  
• Foster confidence, independence, and a positive attitude toward learning
  
• Communicate progress and observations to the family and Tutor Doctor team
  

Requirements

• Background in early childhood education, elementary education, or related field
  
• Experience working with Pre -K and Kindergarten -age children
  
• Patient, calm, and confident working in a one -to -one setting
  
• Comfortable teaching in a home environment
  
• Reliable and able to commit to the full 4 -month contract
  
• Creative, engaging, and developmentally aware
  

• Enjoy working with students and helping them learn.
  
• Are patient, adaptable, and willing to explain concepts in different ways.
  
• Can create a positive and engaging learning environment.
