Junior Boiler Inspector
Position Type: Seasonal/Project Based
Travel Requirements: Must be able to travel to multiple states
Seasonal Schedule: Primarily Spring and Fall Assignments

Position Overview:
We are seeking Junior Boiler inspectors to support inspection projects across multiple states. This is an entry-level, project-based position. Please note: Work will be anywhere from 1-6 weeks in the spring and/or fall. Weeks are not always consecutive. Work will require travel out of state for extended periods. Work is scheduled based on client demand and project needs.
No prior inspection experience is required. Training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist senior inspectors with boiler and pressure vessel inspections
Support documentation, reporting, and field data collection
Prepare and maintain inspection tools and equipment
Follow all company and client safety protocols
Travel to job sites in various states as scheduled
Maintain professional communication with team members and clients

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Must be 18 years of age
Mechanical aptitude or interest in industrial equipment preferred
Willingness and ability to travel extensively
Ability to work in industrial environments (including heights, confined spaces, and varying weather conditions)
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Work Environment

Industrial facilities including power plants, manufacturing facilities, refineries, and processing plants
Physically active role requiring standing, climbing, and lifting
Work may include extended hours during project assignments

Schedule and Compensation

Project based assignments, typically 1-6 weeks
Overtime after 40 hours
Paid travel time and mileage
Per Diem

Ideal Candidate
This position is well suited for someone who is laid off during the spring and fall months and seeking supplemental income; or for someone who is looking for short-term work assignments.
