Box Office Representative

Trimper Rides of Ocean City is looking to hire Ticket Box Operators. The Ticket Box Operators provide customer service, cash handling, and ticketing services. They are on the front line, interacting daily with our patrons, providing information about our offerings. Our ideal candidate will strive to provide a fun and exciting experience, ensuring our guests have a memorable time.

Must have own transportation. No Bus Riders, unless you can work the full shift without leaving early.

Hours:  Day/Evenings/Weekends

FLSA:   Full-time Seasonal

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with purchase decisions. (Points or Wristbands)
  


• Resolve customer conflicts with guidance from the supervisor


• Maintain knowledge of items currently available to customers. (Points or Wristbands)
  


• Understand and relate purchasing policies to customers
  


• Collect complete and accurate information from customers to assist in the best purchasing experience.
  


• Follow proper cash handling procedures
  


• Maintain a positive attitude and a genuine interest in helping others


• Must be comfortable using a 2 way radio to communicate with Guest Services or other departments.


• Remove all trash from the Ticket Box at the end of every shift.


• Keep Ticket Boxes neat, clean, and sanitized daily and at the end of all shifts.

Skills and Qualifications: 

• Attention to detail


• Customer service experience a plus.
  


• Strong communication skills.


• Previous Cash register or Point of Sale experience a plus.


• Highly motivated self-starter, a hard worker with a high energy level; a “doer” with a willingness to work hands-on in assisting customers and staff.  
  


• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures a plus.
  


• Works well independently and in a group setting, a true team player
  


• Ability to maintain a high level of poise and professionalism in all circumstances
  


• Must have reliable transportation to and from all scheduled shifts.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.


• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and reach throughout your shift


• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
