Business Systems Analyst

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, with a focus on the healthcare payer or health plan sector.
  


• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate requirements related to provider data and health plan operations.
  


• Translate complex provider data requirements into functional specifications for development and integration teams.
  


• Support automation and streamlining of data workflows to improve operational efficiency.
  


• Conduct data analysis and validation using SQL to ensure accuracy and integrity of provider data.
  


• Work closely with technical teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives and compliance standards.
  


• Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance provider data processes and tools.
  


• Utilize systems such as eVIPs and Symplr/Cactus, where applicable, to support provider data management activities.
  


• Extensive experience working with healthcare provider data.
  


• Strong SQL skills for querying, validating, and analyzing large datasets.
  


• Solid understanding of healthcare data processes, particularly related to providers.
  


• Excellent communication skills for translating technical information into business context and vice versa.
  


• Strong documentation and analytical thinking skills.
  


• Ability to quickly adapt to new tools, systems, and project environments.
  


• Hands-on experience with eVIPs (Electronic Provider Information Verification System).
  


• Familiarity with Symplr or Cactus provider data management systems.
  


• Exposure to provider credentialing, network management, or compliance-related workflows.
