Camp Coordinator(s) 18+ (2026)

Plan and facilitate activities for one of the 11 Summer Day Camp programs at the Recreation Centers in Providence. 

Responsibilities: 

1. Complies with regulations as required by local health code. 

2. Assists in the implementation of various programs and activities. 

3. Maintains accurate daily records as well as sustain sanitary conditions 

4. Performs related work as required.   

Minimum Entrance Qualifications: 

1. Ability to work flexible hours. 

2. Applicants must be at least 18+ years of age. 

3. Ability to exercise good judgment and focus on detail as required by the position. 

4. Responsible for the daily supervision of recreation staff associated with the camp. 

Providence residency is required.   

Seasonal Position - BCI check required 

Start:  early July 2026

End:   end of August 2026

Providence Department of Parks and Recreation will hire Providence youth this summer to operate lunch program sites, camps, pools and water parks across the city. All summer employment candidates must be at least 18+ years old as of July 1, 2026, and must have applied online.
