The Campus Clinician should be a certified School Psychologist, School Counselor or Social Worker that will play a vital role in providing mental health support and counseling services to students participating in our summer program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical psychology or counseling, with experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings. This is a temporary position for the duration of the summer program.
The Campus Clinician will be;
Initiate opportunities to collaborate and problem-solve with High Jump Staff regarding student concerns
Maintain organized documentation and records of student check-ins.
Prioritize high-risk situations (e.g., crisis), and communicate with appropriate individuals in a timely manner (e.g., Case Manager, Parent).
Provide case-by-case services ranging from individual counseling, identification and assessment, interventions, crisis intervention, and support for navigating referrals for community services.
Organize educational opportunities (e.g., groups, lessons, discussions) surrounding topics that will develop competencies to serve the student in all contexts.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies for supporting students' mental health and well-being.
Provide consultation and support to teachers and staff on best practices for promoting positive mental health in the classroom.

Location: Staff at High Jump will work in person at 1 of 3 campuses

Qualifications:
Current licensure or certification as a school counselor, clinical psychologist, or mental health counselor.
Experience providing counseling services to children and adolescents in educational settings.
Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, mental health disorders, and evidence-based interventions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a diverse student population.
Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to school counseling and mental health services.
Experience working with students from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Experience with trauma-informed approaches to counseling and support.
