Cath Lab Registered Nurse (Travel)

Heartline Staffing a Strategic Talent Partner with Purple Cow Recruiting is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment at an acute-care hospital in Eureka, California. This role supports a busy cardiac catheterization lab providing diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures for adult and geriatric patient populations.

This position is scheduled for day shifts consisting of four 10-hour shifts per week, with required on-call coverage. The Cath Lab RN will support coronary and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams throughout the hospital.

Shift Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 4x10 hours

• Shift window: 06:30 – 19:00

• On-call required

• Weekend coverage required

• Block scheduling may be considered

Assignment Details:

• Contract length: 13 weeks

• Start date: 02/23/2026

• Daily caseload: approximately 8–12 patients

• Guaranteed hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week period

Compensation:

• W2 Hourly Rate: $23 hr

• Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $2499

• Gross Weekly Pay: $3511

The Cath Lab RN will participate in coronary and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, including stent placement, PCI, catheterizations, pacemaker-related procedures, vascular access, and procedural sedation. Epic is used for charting.

• Active California (CA) Registered Nurse license in hand

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience

• Active BLS and ACLS certifications

• Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures

• Ability to take on-call shifts and weekend coverage

• Ability to meet all facility compliance and credentialing deadlines
