As a Certified Medication Aide, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Administering medications, monitoring patients, and providing basic care under the supervision of a licensed nurse


• To provide each of our assigned residents’ with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the needs of the resident and the care plan.


• Immediately answer the nurse's call buzzer of each resident


• Assist in daily requirements and tasks in care and treatment of residents, such as toileting, grooming, bathing, feeding, dressing


• Doing activities with residents


• Detect, correct and report to the charge nurse any unsafe conditions which may result in bodily injury


• Assist residents in all activities of daily living

A few must-haves for our Certified Medication Aide:

• High school diploma (or equivalent)


• Must have at least 6 - 12 months experience. 


• Active Certified Medication Aide certification in Georgia


• CPR and First Aid certification (Will not accept any online certifications)


• Valid Driver’s License or State ID


• Compassionate nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.


• Must have experience with electronic medical records system. Athena charting system preferred
