What you will be doing:

• Help patients get well and regain their power.


• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities.


• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.


• Address the whole patient and view them as an individual.


• Execute programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence.


• Adapt to the needs of patients and find joy in the variety of work and settings.


• Collaborate with peers and make referrals to ensure patients receive necessary care.


• Put patients first and ensure the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.

Experience you will need:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.


• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.


• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
