Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's mental health and emotional well-being.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs.
Provide one-on-one sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
Collaborate with parents, educators, and other healthcare professionals to support children's overall development.
Monitor and document each child's progress towards their therapeutic goals and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
Create a safe, welcoming environment that encourages children to express their thoughts and feelings.
Requirements
Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
Current state licensure or eligible for licensure as a Mental Health Professional or equivalent certification.
Experience working with children and adolescents in a therapeutic setting.
Strong understanding of child and adolescent development and mental health disorders.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and families.
Ability to create and maintain a safe, supportive therapeutic environment.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning in the mental health field.
