Position Overview:

R-2 Contractors is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher for a 2-month contract based in Salt Lake City, UT. This role is critical to the successful execution of our concrete work—safely, efficiently, and with precision. Overtime may be available depending on project needs. Travel is not required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Finish concrete to meet horizontal tolerances

• Execute finish specs ranging from hard trowel to heavy broom

• Patch both horizontal and vertical concrete surfaces

• Assist during pours and placements

• Work collaboratively with the concrete crew

• Operate finishing tools, screeds, and power trowels

• Maintain a strong safety mindset and use proper PPE

Requirements:

• Proven experience in concrete finishing

• Ability to patch to ACI standards

• Experience with screeds, vibrators, and power trowels

• Ability to check grades/elevations to meet FF&L tolerances

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and have an insurable driving record

• Comfortable working long hours and in changing conditions

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $25.00 – $35.00, depending on experience

• 2-Month Contract with potential for overtime
