The Raj Goyle for New York State Comptroller campaign is hiring three (3) Constituency Leads to engage, organize, and build durable relationships with key community, issue-based, and identity-based constituencies across New York State. The ideal candidates are experienced field and/or political professionals with strong relationships in their communities, deep cultural competency, and a proven ability to build trust and mobilize support. This role is central to ensuring the campaign authentically connects with diverse voices and drives coalition momentum. You will collaborate closely with the Regional Organizing Directors and Political Director to adapt strategies and hit benchmarks. 

Primary Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, grassroots organizations, advocacy groups, faith leaders, labor partners, and other stakeholders.
• Develop and execute outreach strategies grounded in the priorities of diverse constituencies, including faith-based communities, labor partners, AAPI and South Asian communities, and Hispanic / Latino communities.
• Organize constituency-focused events, roundtables, and listening sessions to elevate community priorities.
• Serve as a key liaison between the campaign and local leaders to foster long-term relationships and ensure campaign responsiveness.
• Support earned media opportunities and surrogate engagement within constituency communities.
• Coordinate closely with the Field to align organizing, messaging, and visibility efforts.
• Track outreach activities and maintain detailed records of stakeholder engagement.
• Provide strategic input to senior staff on community issues, sensitivities, and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of experience in community organizing, political campaigns, or advocacy organizations.
• Proven ability to build trust, credibility, and long-term relationships across diverse communities.
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills, with cultural competency across a wide range of communities and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Political judgment and discretion when handling sensitive issues.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.

• Fluency or professional proficiency in Spanish and/or Asian language proficiency, including South Asian languages and/or Mandarin or Cantonese, is valued.
