Location: Vancouver, WA or Portland, OR, or Chinook, WA (all geographical areas suggested)

Golden Wolf:

Join us in an exciting role overseeing the renovation of the historic Columbia River Pile Dikes! We're seeking an experienced Construction Quality Assurance Professional for a temporary full-time position with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Vancouver Office.

Project Duration

This position is full-time temporary work that falls within the In-Water Work Window (IWWW)

July 1st-November 30th, 2025

July 1st-November 30th, 2026

Approximately 50 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct daily quality assurance inspections of construction activities

· Monitor contractor's quality control and safety programs

· Prepare and submit detailed digital inspection reports through USACE systems, including photo documentation and proper formatting protocols

· Ensure compliance with environmental requirements and permits

· Verify construction accuracy against plans and specifications

· Participate in quality control meetings and safety oversight

Work Environment:

· Perform daily work onboard a construction barge

· Office onboard the barge will be provided for efficient work performance

· Willingness to work in adverse conditions for extended periods, which may include inclement weather. 

Requirements

Qualifications:

· 2+ years construction experience (heavy civil projects preferred) OR relevant college degree

· NACI Clearance (or ability to obtain)

· Knowledge of USACE and OSHA safety requirements

· Strong analytical and communication skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office 

Preferred Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management

· Experience with USACE projects and procedures

· Background in pile dike construction and marine projects

· Familiarity with quality control processes and reporting
