Inpatient and Outpatient Pharmacy Services at GIMC Hospital
8 hour shifts, 40 hours per week
Can work on any US license

Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited pharmacy program/school
Active pharmacy license in any U.S. state
Minimum of 2 years’ pharmacy experience
Prior IHS or federal facility experience preferred
Contract experience is highly desired
Must be able to pass a federal background check
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret physician orders to ensure accurate, safe medication therapy
Dispense medications and provide thorough patient counseling
Conduct patient assessments to evaluate medication effectiveness
Maintain pharmacy inventory and ensure proper storage protocols
Prepare sterile medications following aseptic techniques
Collaborate across hospital departments, including pediatric units
Offer clinical guidance on pain management and drug interactions

Requirements
Be a graduate of an accredited pharmacy program/school
Previous contract experience is a plus
Previous IHS facility experience helpful
Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
Have a Pharmacist degree from a school of pharmacy approved by a state-accrediting agency
Possess a current, active, unrestricted license from any of the 50 United States, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or the District of Columbia.
Maintain continuing education/certification
Must be a US citizen, living primarily in the United States
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a pharmacist within the past 36 months
References required
Must meet all credentialing and background investigation requirements.
